ALGHAZALA COMPANY, FOR PAINTS AND PAINTING MATERIALS

Alghazala Co; for paint, is one of the largest and most modern factories for paint production in Libya and north Africa, the factory is situated just in the first industrial zone in Misrata – Libya, founded in April 2002, the Company became a part of Alghazala Group for Commerce and Industry.

Alghazala Factory, could shortly satisfy all market’s demands of every kind of paints, so Alghazala Paints became one of the most international competitive paints, due to the high quality of the Factory products, produced from the best raw materials, according to the international quality standards;

In order to conserve this highest level of quality, Alghazala Factory has created a special department for planning and development in all technical and administrative directions, by the endowment of most modern machineries and laboratory tools and means, in order to make the highest quality of paints, therefore, Alghazala Factory, became, thanks to the Lord, the main source of paints for many building firms in Libya.

Due to the importance of the quality, which is considered the first parameter for every successful industry, the administration of Alghazala Factory, has pointed on that side, so the Company has interested to import the most modern paint making machines, from the most famous machine makers in the world, to select carefully the best quality of raw materials, which must be inspected very carefully by a specialized technicians using the most modern control and testing instruments, so the Factory has also interested to be endowed by one of the best and most modern labs in the world.

All above mentioned technologies are duly managed by a very skilled technicians, who were carefully selected from the most skilled and most competent engineers, to whom result of efforts, success and loyalty, Alghazala Factory has been awarded the certificate of quality (ISO 9001:2008) from some international firms providing such a certificate, and Alghazala Factory’s products, have been authenticated by the Libyan Center of Industrial Researches.

In order to stay in harmony with the fast innovation and development of the paint worldwide industry, Alghazala Factory for Paints, has created some branches and special centers for coloring its products using the computer technologies for coloration with more than 2024 of different colors and pigments, very beautiful, elegant and attractive, as like as the gazelle itself (Alghazala), more branches and centers are underway to be opened on all over the Libyan territory.

The story of ALGHAZALA

CHRONOLOGY OF THE FACTS

أبريل 2002

Alghazala Co; for paint was founded and established its first location in Sadoon Street, Misrata – Libya.

2005

The location of Alghazala Co; for paint, was transferred to the new and current position, in the first Industrial Zone in Misurata – Libya, of which total area is 13000M², wherein the Administration building has been erected, new lines of production have been opened, for making plastic and oily paints, whereas another line for making graphite has been opened as well.

During that period, Alghazala Co; started managing for getting the International Certificate of Quality (ISO 9001) and the actuation of a new special department for planning and preparing for the installation of new plants, for the production of varnishes, synthetic sealants and oil isolators (tar).

2006

Alghazala Co; for paint, has been awarded International Certificate of Quality (ISO 9001), chemical engineering team was increased and some of the Libyan employees started for training courses of machinery operation and maintenance.

2008

Since the products of Alghazala Factory for Paints, were promoted and widely appreciated on the Libyan market, since Alghazala Co; had participated in many different concerned conferences, seminars and other local and international events, Alghazala Factory started to export its products abroad, firstly to Algeria, then uninterruptedly exporting to other countries, up to 2011, February the 17th, when the Libyan revolution had begun.

2009

At the beginning of this year, Alghazala Factory, had inaugurated a new modern line for the production of wood emollients and oils of high quality, and the production of special varnishes for the wooden paints.

2012

A new modern storages and warehouses have been added to the Factory, in order to enlarge the storing capability, with the most restricted international standards of safety, security and storing norms.

2016

A new complete line, was joined to the Factory, for the production of hydro-bitumen and oil-bitumen, which are used for waterproofing and anti moisture treatment for buildings and concrete constructions.

In the same year, the Administration building of the Factory, has been restructured and enlarged, as per the most modern administration standards.

2017

Inauguration of the new complete automatic plant, for making the oil isolators (tar) of all types, using the local Libyan oil derivatives, and development of the coloring and dispersing technology for the paint produced by Alghazala Factory, so a proper agreement has been stipulated with the Italian technical machinery maker (Hero ltd.), for the importation of 12 special modern and technical machines, which have a very sophisticated system for the precision of selecting the right grade and concentration of colors and pigments, with many selection options.
